The IPA’s 2023 Summer CUNY Career Launch Interns, Stephanie and David, planned and facilitated a community discussion and visioning activity for a proposal that posits a bike and pedestrian bridge connection to Governors Island from Red Hook.
Participants, including several interns from Governors Island-based organizations, collectively envisioned how this bike and pedestrian bridge could revolutionize the way people connect with Governors Island while preserving and cherishing the natural beauty that surrounds it.
